Having transformed the Camp Hill area of Nuneaton with a series of developments over a 15-year period, we look back as the regeneration scheme draws to a close.
Once a brownfield site, the original look of the area is now a distant memory as The Camp Hill Regeneration Scheme transformed one of the most deprived parts of Warwickshire into a thriving neighbourhood of over 750 homes.
We've also helped to create a sustainable community through:
๐ทโ๏ธ Locally-sourced labour, providing employment opportunities for local people
๐ ๏ธ The launch of Construction Award Multi Skills - on-site work experience alongside traditional GCSE subjects for 14 to 16-year-olds
๐ธ Funding summer camps for local children
๐ The creation of the 'Discovery House' – an educational sustainable house
๐ Upgrades to Whittleford Park, creating open spaces and play areas, including a multi-use games area and outdoor gym
The development has picked-up awards including Best Regeneration Project by Housebuilder Magazine, and Best Brownfield Development Silver Award and Best Partnership Scheme Silver Award from WhatHouse?
