We welcomed Chancellor Rt Hon Rachel Reeves to our Maes yr Haf development

We were pleased to welcome Chancellor Rt Hon Rachel Reeves to our Maes yr Haf development this morning – just one day after delivering the Spring Statement.

Set in Plasdŵr, Cardiff's garden city, Maes yr Haf is one of Redrow's Eco Electric developments of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes – a fitting backdrop for a conversation about growth, skills and the future of housebuilding.

After a series of national media interviews, the Chancellor met with Redrow CEO Matthew Pratt and the local team to discuss planning reform, economic growth, and how industry and government can work together to invest in young people and future careers.
