We've reported a solid performance in our full year results, with 16,565 homes completed, adjusted profits ahead of expectations and continued industry-leading quality, service and sustainability credentials.
Our three distinct brands, which provide an offer for customers at every stage of life, along with an excellent operational performance and strong balance sheet, mean we are well positioned for the future.
David Thomas, Barratt Redrow Chief Executive, said: "We have delivered a solid performance in a tough market, and I'd like to thank our employees, subcontractors and supply chain partners for their support and commitment."
"While the housing market is currently challenging, the long-term fundamentals of the sector remain compelling. The combination with Redrow is transformative and creates a unique offering, with three distinct brands, a strong land position and robust balance sheet. This means we can work towards delivering sustainable growth and building 22,000 homes a year in the medium-term with confidence."
"In the meantime, it is vital that government policy remains focused on reforming the planning system, removing barriers to investment and supporting purchasers, particularly first-time buyers, if the sector is to build the homes the country needs."
